Barrier integrity
Global Test is a non-destructive check of both the primary and secondary barriers in a membrane tank. It shows whether the containment system is tight, or needs follow-up.
SBTT, the Secondary Barrier Tightness Test, measures the secondary barrier on its own by creating a pressure difference between the primary and secondary spaces.
Both are carried out by our GTT-approved team, to the requirements of ABS, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas and DNV.
